WEA provided Architect and Lead Designer Services to Travis Perkins Properties Limited on a Design and Build Project at Travis Perkins, Mead Road, Cheltenham.
The existing branch contained a large branch building and warehouse which encompassed the majority of the site area, leaving minimal available space for yard storage and vehicle movements.
The works involved the phased demolition of the existing Branch Building; construction of a new Branch Building, TP Warehouse and Benchmarx Warehouse; and the construction of a new larger external yard area. The proposals formed separate entrances for customers and delivery vehicles, and improved external stock storage areas and customer experience.
WEA were novated to the Principal Contractor to complete the technical design and construction stage services.
The phased design and construction works ensured that the existing successful branch was able to continue trading throughout the construction works.
